  • slacker films are the 90s version of a 70s film. And 70s film is like a french new wave film. French new wave is like an italian neo-realism film.

    its all about creating a film movement to move us out of our stuck conditions. The ironic thing is once we get out we are in something stupider and basically pointless.

    Once we hit the mark it goes away, then what's the point.

  • The original ending to Clerks was heavilly forshadowed, its a better movie with it, more complete. While its derivative and somewhat rapes the character's corpses Im glad clerks 2 came out :/

  • lol, once again I was thinking Reality Bites and ya brought it up and I agree I don't like it. Don't hate it, but yea didn't care for it which is a shame because as you mentioned given the cast(generation x actors, Hawke the ultimate slacker) it could have been better. Love Chasing Amy.
