@kristopher0815 So you find nothing interesting about mankind learning how to unlock the huge amounts of stored energy inside a small amount of matter? Nothing cool about successfully engineering the release of vast quantities of light and sound from something miniscule in size?
True, the removal of natives and the destructive uses of atomic research are unfortunate. But you cannot discredit the scientists and engineers for their incredible leaps in technology.
