Vilani's Residence (Part 1)

This is a tour of my character's house in Qeynos. Everquest 2 housing is impressive and my favourite part of the game.

I took the video using FRAPS and with all settings on MAX. Without FRAPS running I consistently get 50+ fps but FRAPS dropped the fps to 10. And though the video still turned out pretty smooth it isn't perfect in some places (like upstairs). The HD version is annotated.

Carpenters I believe can make them. Mannequins. Can check the auction hall for them.

Thanks! My gaming cred just got boosted by that comment ;) I am thinking about going back and upgrading to a larger house and adding the new items. Once my WOW addiction has petered out (again).

Nvidia GT9800 in SLI mode. But SLI had zero affect on EQ. Thanks for your comments :)

Its really dark. Cant really appreciate anything without turning up the brightness. =( But your house sounds really nice.

The thing that kept me playing was the housing. I spent all my time and money getting house items to decorate. Was about to move to a larger house when the siren call of WoW pulled me back in.

I still log in and refresh the house every few months though.

I think housing alone will make me try Everquest 2 again. I haven't played since beta, so I am going to have no idea what to do...
