Tarsiers Mating Bohol Scandal

While on vacation in the island of Bohol in the Philippines. These guys just couldn't help but get into it. Its just unfortunate that these primates which are on the endangered species list are definitely exploited.
These lady tourist couldnt just keep their mouths shut so these guys could have a moment.

The Philippine Tarsier (Tarsius syrichta; also known as mawmag in Cebuano/Visayan) is an endangered tarsier species endemic to the Philippines. It is found in the southeastern part of the archipelago, particularly in the provinces of Bohol, Samar, Leyte, and Mindanao, Philippines.[3] Its name is derived from its elongated "tarsus" or ankle bone.[4]
Its geographic range also includes Maripipi Island, Siargao Island, Basilan Island and Dinagat Island.[2] Tarsiers have also been reported in Sarangani, although they may be different subspecies. Believed to be about 45 million years old,[5] and perhaps one of the oldest land species to continuously live in the Philippines, it was only introduced to western biologists in the 18th century.[6]

tell that cow to shut up !! These poor animals are trying to mate and she's carrying on as if she looking a side of pork at the market . This is not an appropriate living set up for them. They look like some fool just wanted a pet and has done an awful job of caring for them.

This place is very controversial on Bohol--I've been there. I didn't realize how bad the conditions for the tarsiers were before I went. IMO it should be shut down.

To the one who took this video..

this is to inform you that your actually making disturbances (a Violation) and so the noises of your colleagues because you're to proximate that their mating was halted. Mating season occurred once a year and if they missed it..it means you stopped their chance to reproduce!!! (making them to ENDANGER!!) Learn to RESPECT when animals want to SURVIVE!!! Humans are part of the Animal Kingdom.
