Coffee Talk #2. Hyperthyroidism. Signs, cures, etc.

Anyone who has had this please tell me what you think about the different curing methods. What I'm afraid of is taking the pills might cause me to gain weight because it slows down your metabolism,... or does it? Medical sites make me pretty confused. I don't know if I have it yet, but based on symptoms my mom and I are pretty convinced that I do. This is some of the information on it in this video. If you know anything about it, please share. Or just comment me!! :D

I hope this resolves itself with medication. Did you know Barbara Bush also has hyperthyroidism? I have the opposite problem you do. Mine is called HYPOthyroidism. It is generally controlled with medication. Best wishes and try not to worry. Fran

Thank you very much... Regardless of the fact that I'm not a big fan of the bush family, it's cool to know that someone famous has it! And the doctors still haven't told me if I have it or not, which makes me very angry..
