there are exceptions to every rule.......sometimes the chemistry is just there and you are two consenting adults......besides I see people who invest time in following the rules (no sex on first date, get married, and others) and they still end up having a horrible relationship or marriage......

Not every man is going to hold it against a woman, but many will. Why take that chance? If it's somebody you really want to be with potentially, is it really that hard to keep your legs closed for a few dates? If the guy can't wait until you're ready he's not the right guy. Besides what if this guy turns out to really be an ass and you slept with him before you could discover that? It takes time to discover peoples true colors. What does it take to get some self respect in todays society?
