Louie on FX is a compelling show but I miss Lucky Louie, wish it had never been cancelled. Such a dark, raw yet consistently hilarious sitcom.

@EFunkRock It was a blessing in disguise bc his new show is SO much more authentic. This show is so 90s sitcom-y, it doesn't do CK's genius any justice what so ever.

@MrJrdify The laughs aren't canned actually, it's a real studio audience. One of Louie's biggest priorities was to never sweeten the laughs because he said the very concept disgusted him, so they performed for two separate studio audiences and actually worked for the laughs. The way every sitcom should, but none of them do because they're all garbage except for this one single show that was canceled.
