Universal Audio LA610MKii-PART-I (Getting set up to use the LA-610)

In this video I go thru the steps to zero out the Universal Audio LA-610MKii. Think of this a where you start each time you use the LA-610.

Settings.

1. set the meter knob to "PREAMP"
2. set MODE knob to "BYP"
3. set the "Bigger Gain" knob on your right to "7"
4. set the "PEAK REDUCTION" knob on your left to "0"
5. set the "HIGH" knob to "0"
6. set the "LOW" knob to "0"
7. set the bigger "LEVEL" knob on the right to "7"
8. always start with the ( -15db ) pad switch off. Witch is in the down position.
9. if you are only recording with one mic the "OUT O" or phase switch does not do much of anything. ( Depending on the mic I would always recommended you toggling it later after you have set up your gain to see if you can hear any difference)
10. turn the "+48V" on only after you have a.) plugged in a microphone and b.) that the microphone requires phantom power in order to operate.
11. set your smaller "Gain knob" in the top left to "0"
