Wind too fickle or reliable power? Think again. Thats what Magenn did in designing their paradigm changing 'blimp' based electricity generation system. Magenn's approach taps into constant (24/7!) wind currents found 400-1000' high. A quantum leap forward for wind power!! UpBeatnik aka Vic Aguilar

  • what about uv damage to fabric?

  • uhm stephen hawking's brother?

  • nonsense but could be out come for different break throug. total upside down concept.

  • It's kinda funny because this video looks like it's from the 70s. Do you suppose any who's alive today will be alive in 2040, saying, gee that balloon wind turbine idea would have been great... I wonder why that never got put into production... Magenn...

  • I conceived of that technology, balloon based wind turbine, half a decade ahead of them. I don't have any financial backing to put it to production. Super dbags just sitting on the ability to solve electrical need global.

  • It might have been wind powered, I didn't hear that at all in the guys spiel about it, but it was NOT a wind power generator. It was an airCRAFT. It was a vehicle, NOT a power plant. That's funny that the same company developed and hasn't made any use of the balloon wind turbine over there in the related videos, Magenn..

  • Balle !

  • nice glasses

  • Sam Beckett went back and built it in the past to try to release it early but it was too early so ppl didn't get it and he accidentally stopped it from being mass produced. maybe if we get a late start we can still make it on time. We may have to live in these someday. look up the giant sphere concept shown on TED Talks so see a real application for stuff like this.
