@ndseahorse29 U have to consider that Hasek couldn't even try NHL before he was 25 coz of politics.And when he came,Euro goalies weren't really trusted.Hasek came to NHL as goalie who accomplished everything he could except of gold with national team.Played on Worlds,Olympics,Canada Cups.Players half as talented and/or without experience other then U20 Worlds get their chances at 18.Hasek's same age as Roy and was more than ready to debut and rule at time Roy did.

@EZxWider Those three could be put in any order and you'd have a good list. It just depends on how you look at it. In my opinion: Patrick Roy: most influental of the three and a great goalie. Martin Brodeur: a great goalie with a long and pretty consistent career. Dominik Hasek: most skilled goalie of the three, most valuable to his team in his prime. If I had to pick, I'd say 1) Dominik Hasek 2) Patrick Roy 3) Martin Brodeur But as I said, it just depends on your perspective.

hardworker0707-Umm...yeah brodeur had better numbers. Most wins of all time, most shutouts of all time, most wins in a season, many vezinas, many Jennings trophies, and 3 Stanley cups. Sure he wasn't on crappy teams like hasek was at times but he was still on many outstanding teams

@joeyjoeyjoey12345 Most Vezina's, record save percentage and G.A.A. Most Hart Trophies by a goalie. Won gold for his country. Set a modern day single season shutout record and playoff shutout record. Doing all this while playing on an inferior team and while Roy and Brodeur were in their primes. Facts and numbers PROVE he is the best of all time. Nobody has better numbers, THUS nobody is better than Hasek. Logic is amazing isn't it? You should use it more often.

@leafsrule16 larry murphy was a d-man, and yes he played for like 1000+ games but he was only as good as the team he was on, for example in pitttsburgh during their stanley cup runs they had lemieux,jagr,stevens,francis,b­arrasso,coffey and murphy was there, in detroit they had yzerman,fedorov,etc and etc he was in the right place at the right time.
