  • I have a 1986 TA Auto. In the long process of resto as well, not near as far as you. Your car is amazing, but your hard work and detication to perfection is key. Keep it up, LOVE the blue gauge lights. My car was intented to be finished for the 10th ann. of the Flight 93 crash but ran into some issues. So I will probably be using similar pods to match the patriotic theme, any hints on finding a set? Again, love the car.

  • @baker23racing Thanks for the kind words! Very cool that your doing a "patriotic" car for the anniversary of flight 93. What color is the car? And as far as the "pods" you were refferring to, did you mean the gauges themselves, or the custom setup they are mounted in?

  • Absolutely amazing, I'm a bit of a perfectionist, and vids 1-10 blew me away! I have a black 84 TA 5.0 I'm currently restoring wishing I had more money for it, but it's coming along. I can't believe how flawless and detailed your work is, it's pretty inspiring brotha, I wanna see more vids of the car now, and your brothers black one if ya don't mind. Love the turbo set up, what made you not want to twin turbo her just curious. Once again great car, great videos.

  • @vinum2424 Thank you very much for the compliments! This has been almost a 4 year project, and ever since the beginning I told myself I would spare no expense. I def have a new vid planned soon since I am waiting on a few parts. And I will try to get a few shots of my brothers car in the vids as well. He now has a turbo 5.3 as well going in. As far as twin turbo, I never liked spending twice the price on parts for no real improvement in power. I love the feel of single turbos as well!

  • I'm looking for a 3rd gen firebird or camaro to start up also. But I love what you are doing with your car, its gonna be a beast on the streets. I feel sorry for the person who pulls up next to you and wants to run em, all he is gonna see is a bright orange do pulling away. Keep up the work and I'm with the other guys I'd like to see more videos when you get a chance, this is a restoration I'd like to see to the end.

  • @paintballalstar They are autometer cobalt series. Should be able to find them anywhere that sells sutometer gauges. Good luck!

  • @transamman305 what brand are they i havent seen them before and i was going to make the cluster out of a damion plain or just sheet metal.

  • @paintballalstar I bought mine from jegs. The two big ones are 5" gauges and the smaller ones are just the standard 2 1/16" gauges. The whole cluster is custom made by me though, and is not available as a whole setup.

  • hey i was wondering where you picked up those gauges im doing a 5.3 swap in my 86 and was wanting different gauges.

  • love the project and your doing a very nice job getting it together. i had a 91 bird that i put a typhoon set up in. i didnt really finish it beyond driving capable and track capable. would love to c how much better that monster youve put together is. good luck finishing it up.
