  • YES -ITS IN FLIGHT SIM :)

  • She is forever young and still a character!!

  • very nice! My mom, Daisy, was a rosie at the Willow Run, Michigan bomber plant. She and my Aunt Maxine and my Grandfather Jesse all left Kentucky and came to Michigan to work in the bomber plant. Let's not ever forget the sacrifices they all made to keep or countries free.

  • yes - they worked their butts off - long long hours and many consecutive night shifts without a break ,truly the Greatest Generation

  • This video was made in tribute to my Mum, Sue. That's her in the photos. So proud Mum was part of the War effort, building Lancaster Bombers!

  • Thanks to your mum and all the girls in the factories during WW2. My Mum was in the AFS, everyone did their bit and it was thanks to these unsung heros that the cause was won. BTW a lot of people lost their lives in the munitions factories due to poor health and safety :-(

  • Are you driving the landcaster? How did you do? Did you download it ?

  • Quality video! As one with a keen interest in WW2 history, and aviation history, a million thanks to your mother & her colleagues for their stalwart efforts in manufacturing the superlative Lancaster bomber. What a stoic, resilient generation-ultimate RESPECT! Some of us born years after the war do have genuine gratitude & respect & affection for those who battled through it! :)

  • Proud to know Sue and her Daughter Glenise, met at our Forties day in Barnoldswick, and hope to meet again this June. Sue must have some wonderful memories, and is forever young.
