Taira Masaji Sensei of Jundokan, Okinawa demostrates advanced concepts of Goju-ryu Karate-do. Taira Sensei is probably the most knowledgeable goju-ryu karateka in the world today and is a highly demanded seminar instructor for his insights into both goju-ryu fundamentals and deep kata application.

  • @SyracuseJundokan i did the same mistake twice ok i will say hi to Aivaras , but my sensei is Saulius and i guess i should say hi to him too and i would like you to write me about his technique ... Sorry for the mistakes , well I always say life is a lesson

  • @MrEdgariuxxx I'm sorry, I don't know Sensei Saulius. If he's affiliated with Sensei Aivaras, I'm sure he is very good!

  • @SyracuseJundokan I made a terrible mistake my Sensei is Aivaras that was teachead by T.GIMA and was given 5th Dan by M.Taira what do you think of his technique ? answer me if its not hard to you ... Thanks ... And also im new at Gojy Ryu i go only one month im burning with desire to learn more and more evry day i wake up half hour later to practice kicks blocks hits and KATA which is Gekisai Dai Ich :)

  • @MrEdgariuxxx Sensei Aivaras is one of the best examples of Jundokan Goju outside Okinawa. Whether his training came from Miyazato Sensei directly or through Gima Sensei, you are still very lucky to have him as your teacher. Please tell him I said hi...

  • @SyracuseJundokan Hello i think you should know my sensei Aivaras he's from Lithuania and he was teached by Y.Miyazato and hes 5th Degree dan i would like to as what do you think about his techniques?

  • @MrEdgariuxxx I think that Sensei Aivaras is one of the best followers of Taira Sensei. His technique is of the highest level and he has a deep understanding of how to make it work. You are very lucky to have such an excellent instructor. I hope this answers your question - best wishes for your training!

  • This is precisely what I teach in boxing and in Buk Sing Choy Lay Fut. This reminds me a lot of Dempsey's drop stepping.
