Melody, harmony, & rhythm have roots in every heart and soul.

What you need is 10,000 hours of study, practice, and playing with others to bring them out. Listen to Coltrane as a young player, and then listen to this prime piece of work. He was human; human just as you and I, and we all need to know that.

you see thats what I mean when people take things out of context just like you did.I really dig paul chambers playing style, and the metronome analogy was in reference to his impeccable timing,Before you post a reply, read between the lines so there is no miscommnucation,Peace!

Actually Mr. Chambers is just like a man, not a metronome. Gimme a break brother.

Do you know what sarcasm is? I'm listing many whites who have in fact revolutionized jazz and it's sub-genre's.

Im tired of people sharing legitimate opinions and light banta only for someone to spoil the tone and start throwing nasty comments about.
