The following is a depiction of political philosopher Jeremy Bentham, reading a passage from his work, The Constitutional Code.
If you found this video hoping to see the "Jeremy Bentham" of the show LOST, you found the wrong one. This one is worse, and will turn your brain to mould. Be appreciative of the fact that you were not forced to read, let alone write a 30 page precis on Bentham.
If you have, then you feel the pain, then ensuing pleasure of finishing the book.

  • Loved this - been finding out some creepy stuff about Betham that explains the awfulness of the colonization process and why the Brits wanted to get the hell out of there! Is the site you advertise at the end yours?

  • Its my own prejudice to be honest. I think that Locke is given to much credit for his effect on the structure for the American govt. He wrongly out shadows Montesquieu and Rousseau. And if the general public knew more about the last two I believe our country would be in much better standings. Especially if more new of Montesquieu's statement that the people should not fear their government but the government should fear its people.
