  • Average "bucket" glass is 8-10oz now. When filled with ice you should only expect to get 4 to 4 1/2 oz of liquid. If you count or eye it, he was clearly shooting for much more than that. Should have just made this in a Pint or a large high ball for a better presentation and so that everything fits in the glass. Overflowing drinks are difficult to run and are a waste.

    What's the deal with the soda when the glass was already overflowing?

    Personally, this is a terrible MaiTai recipe.

  • well Mai tai not this way at all ,, it has to be done with shaved ice first and light rum and dark , fresh lime juice
