i also find it interesting how unlikely and inevitable it was. in particular i've read that Thomas Jefferson was a genius. the kind that you only get once a century
America was soooo lucky to have these people, who had enough selflessness (or maybe so much selfishness if they were really as full of themselves as you say lol!) that they were able to do what they did
and today we take it for granted. d'oh

UMM I think they all were right? Most people were by this time. It was more diverse in the beggenning such as say the 1600's. By the Revolution it was a lot more British, atleast I think it was?

only 2 of the founding fathers were actually present in the signing in of the constitution....

A good text for people who want to know how "Nation Building" was accomplished to the lasting detriment of the common people should read a very good book called LIBERTY MEN AND THE GREAT PROPRIETORS by Alan Taylor (University of North Carolina Pres)
