@SillyAlbo It really depends on your pain tolerance. Like I said in other comments I have a relatively high pain tolerance so it was completely bearable for me. I had no trouble handling the pain. However, since you're getting it from one hip bone to the other the only thing that might hurt noticeably more is the hip bone areas themselves. When you get a tattoo over a bony area it hurts more, but for me it was still manageable.

I'm getting a cupcake on my side stomach and a Zelda tattoo on my upper back. Since I have a high pain tolerance im not scared. I remember when the dentist wouldn't bother to numb my mouth.

So I may be getting my first tattoo here pretty soon and I'm getting ten words starting on my waistline and going onto my back. For me, its not a very sensitive area but since you're the one with the tattoo, do you think it will be that bad?

@buddylikeguitar Like I said is was the minimum regardless of the size. It's just to make sure you're serious about wanting a tattoo since you have to pay the day before. And since it was my first tattoo I honestly didn't mind paying that much since I knew the shop I had it done at was 100% safe.
