As far as I know, he didn't. He finished 2nd place, the winner was some counter tenor.

Bravo!,es un aria dificilisima!.-
-
His voice seems to be too light for this aria.
-
An excellent artist! And he is only 22, so he will certainly develop further.
-
first of all it's MirOnov. try at least spell his name right.
Second of all, have you seen him doing something, wich is not good for his voice?
-
He is an excellent artist. (probably next Gedda) and I wish him to keep up good work in makeing successfully career . Just wondering why someone with that caliber like him need that crap of Neue Stimmen Competition .
-
What an ending! Yes, Glinka hated tenors!
Thank god for inventing the leggero tenor ^^
This is marvelous! Great singer!
(and Thanx to Mr. Glinka for composing this wonderful music :) )

Why would Maxim Mironov perform this aria-because he can...his top and coloratura seem effortless- and for once we find a tenor who sings within his vocal fach.I sure hope in ten years we don't have to read about this tenor's vocal problems because he's singing "Chenier", or "Otello", or something equally ridiculous!Watch out Juan Diego Florez!!!
