If I remember correctly, "Skivvies are Back" was a parody of this song and The Sharp by a TV skit show called "The Comedy Club". Not sure where you heard of it...

Maybe you could talk them into reforming?? They would still make a very cool pub/small venue band!!! Saw them at the Crown in Victor Harbor many years ago. I got dropped while crowd surfing & landed on my knee & couldn't walk for a week but it was worth it!!
