  • Hello, I'm wanting to switch to gdiapers and i was wondering, how long did your baby stay in mediums, like from what starting age to what ending age and what starting weight and what ending weight?

Thank you. and do you do cloth or disposable inserts? or both?

  • @KeyonaBBaby Sorry I was on Vaca and just got ur msg. Actually I didn't start cloth diapering until he was already in a size lrg. However, he has been in a size lrg gdiaper from around 10 months, till now and he is almost 2 at the moment and they are still fitting him.... if that helps :)

  • have you ever had an issue with the velcro? i use all fb and kawaii.. and i bought two gdiapers today.. and the first change.. the velcro on one of them came off! i'm sooo not impressed! i exchanged them, so hopefully it doesnt happen again.. but i'm curious as too if anyone else had this happen.. >_<

  • @BaileyFlys Actually I have never had any problems with the velcro! I have been using my first pair that I bought for 6 months now, and I have never had an issue! I did have a velcro problem with a thirsties duo wrap, and had to exchange that, but so far I haven't had anymore issues! I'll be doing a "old" style gdiaper vs "new" style gdiaper video in a few days =). Over all though, I haven't had any issues with the gdiaper covers. I've had to buy some extra liners but that was bout it.

  • Great video. One question....did the flushable inserts leak?

  • @nocturne1980 A little bit, I had to change them more often. I think they linked because they were bunching up. I found the cloth inserts obsorbed more.

  • it seems so compicated to me. I just buy biodegradable/enviormental safe disposable diapers...

  • You realize that you shouldn't be putting microfiber next to your son's skin....RIGHT??? That's why there are pockets on BumGenius diapers!! You need a barrier against the skin between it & microfiber. Microfiber inserts against the skin can dry them out horribly, and create rashes! Not good! Just thought if you didn't know it would be helpful! :)

  • When you put the automotive cloth in the diaper you put it in with a "cover". What is this cover made out of and where did you get it please.

  • buybuybaby sales bum genius online!

  • @MsHelloKiti okay, good. hopefully i just got a faulty diaper then haha i havent heard anything but good about these so i was starting to get worried! hahaha

  • @MsHelloKiti Cool. I think we will do both. I just found a diapering service today that will provide the cloth inserts. Perhaps we can use the flushables when we are out.
