  • No Idea why someone would pay 300$ for this thing. Get a rustybox or a bass tube screamer or anything else. Is this through a tweeter or something? I hate the sound of this.

  • @hojima Sorry you don't like the sound! You're the first person I've heard out of hundreds that doesn't like what the B3K offers. That's what's great about tone! Everyone has their own likes.

This was recorded from the DI of the Aguilar Tone Hammer 500, no mic'ing was done.

  • @joshuaryant Oh snap! Fletch is one of my all time favorite people ever. Congrats! I'd love to play with those guys. Don't ever let anyone bully you into a gear acquisition decision. Your style and tone is up to you and you alone!

Spend the extra scratch and go with the TH500, you'll want the headroom in live settings. Trust me on this one. You'll want to go with a 4 ohm cabinet as well in order to get all you can out of these little heads.

  • @NickNARDONE Thanks so much for the advice. Buying either a TH 500 or the new 350. I've had my eye on them for months but my band really wants me to be an Ampeg guy. I don't know that I am. By the way, you've met them, I bass for Ryan Fletcher and Standing Small.

  • @NickNARDONE I'd probably like it if I heard a cabinet recording without a tweeter. the high end is just too clanky for me.

  • Excellent review! I've had the pedal for about a month now and i'm really glad i made the investment! it's simple yet powerful....full...it can be brutally punishing thru my mesa m9carbine without sacrificing any clarity, punch or low end.

  • great demo! showed what everything does in good detail :P
