Jennifer Hudson singt auf der Trauerfeier von Michael Jackson das Lied "Will you be there"

Trauerfeier am 7.7.2009

Michael? I'll be missing you !

Jacksons words:

In my deepest despair
Will you still care?
Will you be there?
In my trials and my tribulations
Through our douhts and frustrations.
In my violence
in my turbulence.
Through my fear
and my confessions.
In my anguisch and my pain.
Through my joy and my sorrow.
In the promise of another tomorrow.
I'll never let you part.
For you're always in my heart....

  • I started bursting in tears when he started saying "In our darkest hour..."

  • Although his memorial service was clearly a Christian oriented service, but Michael Jackson was not inside the casket.

It’s clear to everybody that Michael Jackson is no more a Jehovah's Witness.

    So let's say:

May Allah be with you (Michael) always.

You are a gift from Allah. And He has taken you back.

  • @MsOriginalBaby so did I. I was watching it with a friend of mine at work and we both ended with teary eyes..it was a powerfull performance by Jennifer..

  • OMG! as soon as she started to singing, it gave me goosebumps!

  • good lord, after listening to Melanie's version, this sounds like shit.

  • its always been pains because we experience multiple hurts and in that sense it was powerful it shows a kind of triumph of the hurt

  • michael jackson the biggest star of the rock

  • Emocionante!

  • @MsOriginalBaby I almost did to I tryed to hold it. I cried after the realization that his kids did not have a parent was sad and made me cry.

  • @alexisthemanandrock2 Yeah, and so am I. Trust me. I grew up with this song, I know it inside out. There is no other version of the spoken words at the end. Either it sounds like "pains" because of the echos in the venue and there was a typo on the screen, or he's always said "pains".

And I did "recheck my songs" and I still think he says "pains".

  • @loopyallie1 nope , recheck ur songs , im sure of what im saying

  • @alexisthemanandrock2 It's the same version as the original. He's always said "pains".
