Oh, no doubt. The Hip Hop coming out of NYC in the early-to-mid 1980's was a time in music history that is right up there with the British Rock Invasion and the NWOBHM, the L.A. Sunset Strip bands of the late '70's-mid '80's and the early '90's Seattle scene, all of which changed the course of music history as we know it. You should be able to find the full Graffiti Rock pilot on DVD at your local public library. It's got 43 minutes of extras, too.
