Had to reupload this, I used the new Youtube video editor to change the colors and it DESTROYED the audio. DON'T USE IT! Your old videos will be ruined.

ORIGINAL TEXT:

Was going to sell the Quad, decided to play around one last time and with the PDI-09 it just plays and sounds so much better with the Palmer I don't know if I can get rid of it. I left the leads out later so you can hear the quad tracked sound (two tracks each of the dual channel method rhtyhm and lead channels combined with the footswitch). The harmonies are the M3 Lead channel, the lead is the dual channel lead method with some EQ. Eleven Rack for FX, and PSPAudioware plugins/SSD Platinum Drums, Mellow Muse EQ1A. Recorded in Cakewalk Music Creator 6, ended up getting Sonar X1 Producer and remixing it but it's still tracked at 16/44 unfortunately. Will have better sounds but this is probably the typical sound you will get with a cheap sound card and minimal effort.

Still have to finish this, but thought it would be a better way to listen to the rhythm sound a little too.

  • @MyLifeChanger watch?v=ZCH8iWifgU4 Sounds like some of the other AMTs sound great through power amps and mic'd...I'd really love to get an Isocab like Ola uses on this link...that is the next step for me hopefully.

  • @MyLifeChanger No, have heard some demos and didn't really like it that much over the AMT preamp pedals (R1 and M1 sound decent). Jack's Thammarat's used the PDI-09 successfully in so many songs with modelers and amps though, I had to get one. He does a few Satch covers that are spot on with the tones and playing. I still have yet to utilize it to it's full potential, but I'm finding scooping the mids on ch1 Quad and using the bright switch comes out a lot better now so no post EQ-ing.

  • by the way, any experience with the palmer pocket amp?

  • @MyLifeChanger Thank you!

  • very cool sounds!
