You're confusing correlation with causation. Just because two things are correlated does not mean one is caused by the other. Just because a violent person likes to play violent video games doesn't mean violent video games caused the person to have violent tendencies. It makes sense for a violent person to spend time playing violent video games, but look at all the non-violent people who also play them. There is not a shred of scientific evidence to support video games as a cause for violence

No problem, you're doing pretty well! The only thing I'll say in response is this: what evidence do you have? It's fine to claim all of this, but unless you have proof then it's merely what YOU believe rather than established truth. The truth is that hundreds of tests have already been carried out and no evidence has ever been found that links video games as a causation for violent behavior. Until that causation is found there is no evidence to support your claims.

The only way to avoid that combination is to get rid of peoples or guns, but if you want to get rid of peoples you need peoples with guns and we don't want that, so let's simply get rid of the guns!

insane people have been killing people since the beginning of the human race as far a i know video games were only around about 20 years so what was responsible for the countless billions of people being killed before computers were invented

Ok, so now let's get this straight, for someone to act in any way he needs two things : means and a reason, the two aren't even comparable, you can find thousands of reasons to commit a mass murder, but if you don't have the weapons you won't be able to do much.

So, gun becoming illegal will not magically cause for violence to disappear, but it'll be much harder for them to get the weapons, and it'll avoid us a lot of "accidents" or "bad choices"
