  • Yamaha NS-1000M's in the house!

  • Jay's one of the great Westcoast producers,if not THE best(excluding Foster--when they work together,it's like one brilliant megamind super-producer).When Jay mentions about the Airplay album being over-produced,and about glitched bass tracks,I get a bit of a laugh out of it.He's a total perfectionist(as almost all artist's are),and he's probably got something like bat-sonar x 10.Anyhow,it'll remain one of my favorite albums!(the 30th anniversary blu-spec sounds great!

  • Got to know this guy from the Al Jarreau projects, "This Time, Breaking Away", of course the Earth, Wind & Fire's "I AM" project. Just recently noticed he was a singer because of a clip of a performance with his Airplay partner David Foster while searching for the Trumpet Master Jerry Hey.

  • awesome

  • Jay has written some of the most incredible songs in the history of modern-day music, for some of the greatest performers ... he has been and always will be a huge mentor for me. So many people owe much of their sucess to the writing prowess of Jay Graydon. Between him, Gino Vannelli, and Roby Duke, my songwriting mentors are complete. But what has happened to Jay? He looks really way too thin and ill in this interview ... I hope he's OK. God bless, Jay ... I'd love if you'd listen to a song.

  • i love Airplay,still you're the best from Japan!
