I know how he does it

he hides the bottom of the key with his right thumb, this is why you only see the top which looks like a quarter, then as soon as he places it in his hand, he closes it right away to make sure that no one sees it

The top of the key is probably a quarter on one side, and then on the other its a key. But the hide the bit were the teeth are! Thats my guess

lol if you look at the top of the key it is in the shape of a quarter so when he shows you the quarter he is just showing you the top half of the key

well blaing, your glue stick theory is wrong unfornately, you can find this small effect on michael ammars intro to coin magic dvd, simple effect and there is no use of glue, lol, but his performance didnt seem "casual" since he's in that akward position trying to desperately show you the coin, so yah, his performance was off but the change was good, i give it a 4/5

the trick is easy coin in front of the key has glue stick on his hand so the coin just stays on his thumb then it changes wala i figured it out watching him do it idiot drops his but had nothing to drop it on
