This was our last production, around the times we played at the Embers in 1983, with the late Eugenio Toussaint as producer. We tried to go pro according to the eighties concept. It was not easy, playing along with an electronic metronome. As the video itself tells you, we had to switch over to e-drums. While we got a good sound in the end, things were not going well for the group. We did achieve take off to fame and we got tired and quit playing as a band soon afterwards.
Musicians are the usual suspects: Victor Sanchez, Gonzalo del Peon, Luis Schmidt and myself, and joined by Federico Traeger on vocals and Humberto Vazquez on bass. Toussaint also played keyboards and some sound FX. Two thirty nine
The production was a little sparse, so I added some Brazilian percs in 2011.
The visual concept required the help of my daughters, who are true SIMS experts.
You can now find 7 Nirvana songs here at YouTube the others are Lobo (Nirvana was a Mexican band from the seventies), Lizard, Waterfall (1979), Love Travels Faster Than Light, Caminando (1981) and Sometimes (1977). Those videos also show some more of our history as a group.
Gracias, estimadísimo Enrique
