DO NOT OWN SONG*
Interview with Ramin [keys/guitar] from In Fear and Faith on Nov. 23 San Francisco, CA Regency Center

In Fear and Faith`
Introduce yourself [Name, role, favorite song to sing in the shower]
Ramin [key/guitar]: Any song by Vic Fuentes
You've been in the band since day one, what would you say is the greatest accomplishment of the band?
Warped Tour; I think that's every little band's dream is to play a show and tour like Warped Tour cause it's massive and fun. It was our first tour on a bus. It was one of those things were like the first thing you walk in the bus you go "wow, this is weird."

Did you get sunburn really bad?
No, I don't get sunburn due to my nationalities.

Which song do you feel most connected to personally and why?
Live Love Die. because it was the first song that I ever wrote (Not the lyrics, but the music). It's kind of what our band got to be where we are right now.

What do you think that makes IMPERIAL epic?
I think it is the use of piano.
Basically what In Fear and Faith tries to do with our music is to utilize layers to build up with certain elements. Make it visual and emotional as possible.

So in the music video with Craig Owens, you did a really cool move with your guitar, how long did that take you to learn how to do it?
I don't learn how to do it. I just hope that my guitar comes back. Sometimes it doesn't, it breaks, or hits someone. I actually haven't hit anyone in the band except for myself. I busted up my lip pretty bad.
How did you break your leg?
We were on tour with We Came As Romans and I was on stage. I have really bad back problems from a car accident, so my body broke I fell on it wrong and shattered it. It's been three months, and pretty miserable. You guys worked on half the songs on Imperial before going to the studio, what was the difference between those two, which so you prefer?
I prefer when we write songs together. It's weird I have emotionally attachment to the songs back home cause I worked really, really hard on them. The Solitary Life, Counselor, and Pursuit were all done at home and some of my favorite tracks.

What inspires you to write these songs? You say personal experiences, but can you go deeper?

I don't do anything with lyrics, but the first album, we were a new band, a fresh band and was just talking about life situations. Second album is about struggles in a band, sacrifices needed to be made, and the passion behind it.
So I heard you guys want to do your first headlining tour next year, if you can pick any band to be openers, who would you pick?

Linkin Park and Blink182. We think about this all the time. There are so many bands out there. The industry changes, one day a band will be more valuable than another then the next day it completely changes.
If you had to listen to one band/artist for the rest of your life, which band/artist would you pick?
Linkin Park. That one was easy for me.
-If you had to be stuck on an island with one of your band mates who would you choose and why?
Probably my brother, the reason is that we butt heads like brothers but ten minutes later we forget about it.
If you had to make a kissing scene for a movie, who would you want to be in it and how would you start it off?
Now that is a difficult one. I think Angelina Jolie. From a long time ago, I have a little bit of a crush on her, and I would start it off by serenading her on the piano; and getting her drunk.

Beer?

No it would take too long and get her fat. So we'll stick to hard liquor.

Fill in The Blank
Noah smells like Armpit (His right one).
Cody doesn't know I took his Virginity.
If Scott got rid of his mustache, I would dance.
If I stole Mehdi's car, he would cry.
I play like a super ridiculous sexy man and epic.
