@builttrainer That particular theme is available on the Television Production Music Museum site but you have to become an actual member to gain access to the actual theme used on the show, including the true opening.

This was great listening to this again. I was mad when , in April 1971, Dark Shadows was finished and ABC put the new Password in its place. No more vampires, werewolves, and horror. It was good to hear theme again,though.

Yeah, the episodes not in the trading circuit can only be viewed at the UCLA. I would've loved if one of the episodes from the week Betty White hosted existed, but we can't get everything we want. I wish the networks didn't wipe the tapes. At the time, they thought they were doing the right thing, but now, it's left a gigantic scar on the game show world. Thank god CBS didn't wipe game shows.

Now, if only we could get our hands on one of the rarest themes of all time; the closing theme of the 1972 syndie revival of I've Got a Secret. It must be a SCORE production, because it sounds exactly like something you'd hear in the first suite of Showcase cues for the revival of The Price Is Right, which came out at about the same time.

Neither closing or opening of syndie IGAS is by score productions. The opening was by Steve Allen, the opening, as said by score productions in their response, is " The closing theme of the syndicated 1972 I've Got A Secret was made by an unknown artist" :/
