this isn't one of those random youtube videos that you stumble across and pay little mind to; forgettable...never to explore upon again. for the past two years, i've been listening to this at least weekly.....some of the time completely tuned in to what is being said..other times just floating in a dream-like state keeping it on repeat. i'm not sure what it is in particular, but the combination here is extraordinary. an awesome reading, and the beat is something ridiculous.. (in a good way)

I'm no purist when it comes to poetry, but I don't think this music works well with the poem or the pics. It's too busy. You need something less.

i love watching the average love him. you know even he wouldn't be on his old shit anymore. Only in context of history are his writings still relevant on the main front. In an ever evolving and complexifing world there is never a time when our ideas will be able to be stagnant and still hold true to the present.
he reminds me of what I used to be like. what i was built off of. veiled arrogance.
