  • Very nice. BTW doesn't Bernstein look like Harrison Ford, or is it just me.

  • This is a memorable performance of one of Mahler's most beautiful works, the finale to his fourth symphony, taken from a 1960 telecast in Carnegie Hall. That was also the year that Bernstein began the revival of Mahler's symphonies, recording all of the complete ones for Columbia Records.

  • When I was in grammar school, I saw Bernstein at a Young People's concert.

  • Does anyone have a recording possibly of a tenor named Richard Armstrong?

  • Exquisite. Many thanks

  • This is wonderful simplicity and she has great courage of course supported by the utter security of Bernstein's conducting & sensitivity

    Thank you so much
