The teacher thought I was lying when I needed to go get sugar, and wouldn't give me permission to leave class, even when I showed her the 4.0 on my monitor :S Apparently I use my incurable disease to skip class.

Actually, that is an honest mistake on the teacher's part. Remember, there have been *too* many folks who ruined trust when it comes to diabetics & pumps that he was just doing his job & making sure that it wasn't an ipod or something of that nature that you had. Now, if he decided to confiscate the pump, even knowing what it is, that is different. If I had a child in school & teacher did something like that, in your situation, I'd be okay w/ it, but taking it away, there'd be a BIG problem.
