At that time, Bob Keostel was a better drummer than Kottak, but it was James that went onto Scorpions greatness! I remember Bob rippin Neal Peart licks as a freshman in high school!

Buster Brown rocked Louisville, Evansville.. Kramers Lake, Funkys and the westport Pier and i was there....

The drummer's name is Bob Koestle, he was the drummer before James.

I'm familiar with Bob Koestle playing on Loud And Clear and James Kottak playing on Sign Of Victory.
