But its hard toaccept that countries claiming themselves to be Welfare States ,

I don't really like that Gordon Brown in apologising for this... I think just because I don't like the man... but I think the instinct is that there are worse things that have been done in UK. I think the same situation was for the children evacuated from london during the Blitz. The realy crime is arrogance towards the people of UK in this case, I don't think that has been recognised. I am also worried he will start to apologise for every action of British Empire.

Kidnapping for concubinage is a worse evil, which Obaid mentions. It was an ancient practice that got carried over by primitives, like bedouins and those with an imperialist mindset...Muhammed, both primitive and imperialist, for instance, condoned and practiced kidnapping for concubinage.

I do sincerely hope that she is fine now in every sense and not has been traumatized by this.
