You Screaming Son of A Bus!!!!! (GRTC #703)

Alright people, brace your ears for this screaming son of a bus #703 as it too hits the highway on Route 26 (TO Parham Park n Ride).

The Detroit Diesel Series 40-E engine on this bus is ear-breaking loud, and that's hot.

Just to note, I recorded this one BEFORE I caught #310 going downtown.And an audio recording of this bus (and several others) will available later this week.

I personally rode on bus 703 when it was on the 37 chamberlayne route, i think it is the best sounding bus grtc has to offer i love that loud long whiine when switching out of 1st gear

The whine comes from the transmission. Voith gearboxes make a whining sound when they are in gear.
