So True. I'm in Misawa now and the people are so friendly here. My husband and I were talking this morning and he said that the Marines may be forced to leave Okinawa. (My dad was stationed there years ago, but obviously things are changing now.) Anyway, you're right - at least they like us here. lol

I love Misawa. It's a beautiful city. You can't let the weather stop you from exploring the country. There is lots to do if you get out and explore.

I was at Misawa 1977 to 1981 and loved every second of it. People were great, and I went back for a visit last year and felt at home as I ran into some Japanese friends from when I was there.

I was there from 1997-2000. My unit isn't even there anymore. Sure would like to go back one day.

i HATED THAT damn place!! fuck ive never been to such a boring dead stale place in all my life!! snowed in all winter long then rains all summer NOTHING to do been to Yoko and Sasebo theres stuff to do there at least
