I think I get what roger's idea was here.You'll notice that the only songs on the album that sound really "poppy" are the ones that are played on the radio (that is "radio KAOS" in the story) the narrative songs are in no way pop oriented...But the "pop" songs (radio waves, powers that be etc.) are supposed to sound like that..B/c's that's what on the radio at the time.....Just my thought..I could be reaching

@Abonanno24601 Different strokes for different folks...we are different....but fans nonetheless! :) Wots is a prime example of a Floyd tune, although I am preferable to only that offering on that album! You are correct about Davids comments on Final Cut! As I type Im listening to Pros and Cons...in my honest opinion? I DISLIKE IT so very much...yet love Final Cut...wots the deal? Bad pun! Thanks for the chat and great debate!

@soysaucefool funny story about The Wall. Since Rick agreed to be put on as a hired musician for The Wall Tour, hes the only person in the band that made money. Rick was the only real person that made money off the concert because since he wasn't in the band anymore at the time, he agreed to take union wages. All he wated to do was to tour with the band

@mrdave777 I think that KAOS is a far cry comparied to Gdansk. I get what you're saying but Roger kind of lost me when he started to play Floyd songs during KAOS. Kind of lost its meaning a little. I never saw KAOS live, but from what I've seen on Youtube, KAOS live kind of looses its naritave aboout Billy. Dave... well, I think he did the best version of Echeos at Gdansk I've ever heard with Rick. Yeah, Dave said that if the songs wern't good enought for the wall, why now?

@mrdave777 Pipers, Animals, Wish you were Here, Meddle, and Darkside. Any order. I just can't get into the Final Cut but to each is own. Wots is the only good song on OBC? You don't like the title track OBC?

@Abonanno24601 David Gilmour at Gdansk is quite respectful, although he is NOT Pink Floyd! Just like watching this video on Radio Kaos....Roger is not Floyd! I just want to listen to songs like Wots..uh the deal, the only song I love on Obscured.  To ask you further about the Final Cut....I read one time those were all songs rejected from the Wall. I put that album in my top 5 Floyd albums, but the composing and producing is 90% Roger, making it the same as Momentary....no??

@mrdave777 yes to you're question about Ummagumma. Would you consider Obscured by Couds a good albulm? Just wondering? BTW, I didn't know that there was a bigger PF fan than me! LOL. If you get a change, take a look at David Gilmour Live at Gnansk. There is a great version of Echeos and I think it may be one of the last times Rick preformed.

@Abonanno24601 I really like this conversation, I could debate with you the rest of the year! Appreciate your insight and opinions! Roger is definitely NOT Pink Floyd, including Dave, Rick and Nick! However, something has to be said about the ego of Roger after Dark Side...it exploded! Sid was a genius in his own right, but when you add mental illness with LSD...thats not good! Let me ask, would you say Ummagumma is almost a solo album by each member under the Floyd name?
