@HurbieHandcock1 I don't believe that though, I think that within the first two weeks or so its not yet a child. I think human life begins when the baby begins to feel pain. Until then it is something similar to sperm or an egg. This argument is moot though because we obviously aren't getting though to each other.

@madhouse221 but see, when you are "with child" it is not just your body anymore. there is another person to consider besides just yourself. and most cases of abortion are not due to rape or medical reasons or failed birth control.

@HurbieHandcock1 A women has the right to do what she wants to do with her body. I only used the rape situation to let people see it from another view. I think that if a women is not ready to have a baby and her birth control fails then she should not be forced to have that child. Late term abortion is a different story though.

@madhouse221 i really wish people would stop trying to capitalize on rape. it's a horrible thing. but we know that the vast majority of abortions are not rape or medically related. if you want the maturity and power, people, it comes with responsibility. with so many alternatives nowadays like birth control, adoption, etc. there shouldn't be such a big demand for abortions now.
