  • @hot5pur11 Jeremiah Clarke did write another trumpet tune called the Prince of Denmark's March, which was first attributed to Purcell, so you're not too far wrong. You might have known that already, sorry if you did.

  • piękne brzmienie

  • I thought this was by Jeremiah Clarke? How wrong I was!!

  • it sounded like military march song

  • THe most original English composer of his time,oh yes,Hanry Purcell composed for the church, stage, and court and for private entertainment.I know,he spent his entire life in Westminster.thanks.

  • I LOVE this! Wonderful Piece of music. I haven't heard this for years. I could only remember trumpet and air. I found it!! Thanks again. :)

  • Royal.

  • you listen to music like this, the Mouret Rondeau, etc., and what comes to mind is that the kings of that time may have been scoundrels, but, by gum, they knew how to be kings. It helps one understand why one addressed a king as "Your Majesty".

  • Has anyone written words for the trumpet tune. I think it would make a great choral anthem.

  • @TheLegobatmanmovies

so is your grandmother... : ) just kidding
