Homelite XL

A homelite Xl from sometime in the mid 70s. Serial # was in the video. New oregon 14" bar and chain. I think it is a 1.8 CI engine. Any one know how many cc? It doesnt run too well when it is cold....but once its warmed up, it will cut through anything.

i have the same saw do you remember where you got the bar and chain because mine only has a 10 inch bar

My dad got it at Meyers and Rhodes. I have found bars for it online for about $50. Wee got ours for $20. It was a good deal. I wouldnt get bigger than a 14, the engine cant handle much more than that.

well i have a homelite super mini pretty much the same one and i have a xl-1 and they re from 1972 lol check out my videos i think u will like them
