UK Contrails in 1941

This excerpt from a 1941 Pathe newsreel shows contrails from WWII fighter aircraft forming over a British village in 1942.

Two shows show the same contrails, one after a few minutes showing the contrails persisted and spread a little.

(Video has been cut for length, removing film of quaint cottages, etc).

There are your grid pattern skies, your persistent trails and cirrus clouds, but they were filmed in 1944 by both German and Allied film crews, before Chemtards say they ever existed, and made by piston engined craft!

These were witnessed by hundreds of thousands of servicemen on both sides and made the cover of life magazine in 1944

Why have prop planes stopped leaving contrails since?

Because they never did....

Whoa, dude. I worked on C-130s in the Air Force for over ten years. I worked the engines. Know them inside and out. The C-130 engine is a T-56, built by Allison. They ARE, indeed jet engines. They simply have a gearbox at the forward end of the torqueshaft, which reduces the speed from the compressor, from 13k rpm to 1,020 for the prop. And they ABSOLUTELY make contrails, depending totally on atmospheric conditions. People that don't understand this need to go to school and learn the basics.

The west Antarctic ice shelf is receding but there is really no danger of Antarctica melting even according to the worst case scenarios. The major cause of rising ocean levels will be heat expansion of the ocean. Global warming is very real but it has been hard to get the government to even agree on emissions caps. Wide scale geoengineering during the Bush Administration strikes me as unlikely, unless he was posturing which is possible.
