I was attempting to recreate a trapdoor that I saw in a video. It was working fine until I placed a piece of redstone dust in the wrong place, this is what happened.
I saw another video that utilized this freakout of trapdoors to make a nearly indestructible drawbridge trap, but I don't know why mine stops after a second or so. If anyone has an explanation feel free to tell me. If it wasn't obvious, I'm new to redstone circuitry.
Redstone totches burn out. You accidently made a clock. Hook one up to repeaters and you will have it go forever. If you know how ;)

You used "epic" in the tags? I'm so ashamed! T-T
And btw, I got the "how to read literature like a professor" book, and it's great! Now I just need to write a book report on it...*sigh*
