Thanks so much for introducing us Del fans to Jerry--who most of us probably never heard of!
This guy is the real deal, a terrific distinctive voice I'll try to get more of....

Del's the one everybody knows - and we all know how great he is all the way around, but DO NOT overlook his younger bro, Jerry - an awesome singer and slap bass man. And when this brothers sing a duet - WATCH OUT!
-
not a fan of Jerrys voice, os his slapping on the bass.
-
Just saw Jerry last night with the Scott Brannon band (4/4/2009) at Lucketts Va. Jerry is still with him and still an awesome bass player.
-
Well Jerry McCoury was driving a Mack dump truck in Hanover pa. last year. And yes its the same Jerry, Del's brother
-

is that me in the little lawn chair?

What ever happened to Jerry McCoury? Is he still in the music industry? I've never heard of him until I saw this video. Of course I wasn't born yet in 1986.

Jerry was in the Scott Brannon Band, at least for their 2002 release, "Mountain Lady"... I'm not sure what he's been up to since then. Anyone?

You know, I hadn't thought about it, but yeah! Rick Campbell DOES look kinda like Freddy Mercury, and Jerry McCoury definitely looks like Robin Williams, ha ha!
