ASSIMP supports Collada animations! Is this buggy or very functional? I want to use animated Collada files in an OpenGL project on Linux with the help of ASSIMP.

Hi,

Animation support is mostly fine, although I know of at least some files which don't load. Chances are good your files will work perfectly. If not, don't hesitate to send us any failing files, we're trying to fix any issues as soon as possible, as our spare time allows .. :-)

nice work.... do you know how to put interactivity into a collada file using actionscript3? i tried to put it but not works for collada file.. it only worked for primitives like sphere... plane... and premade stuffs. can you plz let me know if this is possible or not? many thanx!
