Why is it that a lot of Rednecks think being anti-war is a "pussy" stancIs it not much braver to relinquish arms?? Really it is because they are afraid of others they want to have a war and a load of guns.

@tubub The fact that certain "enemies" are immoral and take no consideration for their disregard for life does not empower us to do so while conserving our morality. Yes, innocent people did die after we left Vietnam. However, even while we remained in that country, our goals were not altruistic in nature; we were not there to save lives (as our war policies such as napalming entire villages prove) but to profit and prevent the spread of communism (bogeyman created for public vindication).

@tubub I believe you are missing the point of his message, that war, even with the best of intentions, itself is immoral (for example, the Vietnamese murdering each other), and therefore a preemptive war is moreso, as there is no principle other than the sacrifice of others for the sake of ourselves. Also, when we entered into Vietnam, it was not for altruistic means such as saving lives (our policies of war in Vietnam prove this) but to prevent the spread of communism (the bogeyman) and profit.

Our enemies don't have these kinds of discussions. You think once the United States leaves foreign endeavors that our enemies simply lay down their arms and all is well? You know how many millions of INNOCENT people died after we left Vietnam, because we left? Is that peace? Is that love?
