  • Most of us beel the same about emotional affectation. Unfortunately it's a catch-22 situation. Without the technical expertise it just doesn't happen. Does it?

  • I agree. The need for technical virtuosity is paramount and I was not intending to diminish it's importance.

  • You played well, although it was written with a quarter note = 60.

    This piece is the tombeau, the bum. It shows the vision of Debussy.

    Good job though its too fast.

  • I apologize. You were right. We would both rather listen to a good player who can make us feel something than to an expert player who can't.

  • pretty cool! although i think you shud play the quintuplets as they are shown as it looks like de falla has gone to alot of work to make sure players get this the way he intended. i got 28/30 on this piece for my grade 8 exam a few months back!!!
