yah also gotta remember, turbos with top end performance specific pull way harder and more efficiently then smaller ones ever could. also mpg is awesome with a big turbo keeping it out of its powerband aka under 5000 rpm's. might have some lag on other cars but is cut down dramatically on a v8. to me, being able to switch from 300hp to 900 at a seconds notice and still retaining docile driving along with awesome mpg along with a smaller price tag compared to tt's makes it worth it

@helloman1976 cause that is there low boost setup, i have a friend with a tt vette, two very large turbo's, 700whp on low boost (what he drives it on on the street) he says he likes the turbo lag cause it makes for an easier weeked driver, i've never seen it on high boost, but apparently he runs mid/high 9's on his low boost so i could really give a damn what he runs on high boost lol

I'll never understand why people buy HUGE turbos and then they only want to make 600rwhp with them. Why not save some money, get a smaller and faster spooling turbo and make 600rwhp with it? Why did you get a 76mm turbo and then say 600rwhp was good? A 76mm turbo can make 1200hp so if that isnt your goal all you did is end up with a slower spooling turbo that costs more and makes the same power...pretty retarded to me... am I wrong here?

First, the car is not mine. Second, he went with the big turbo because he wants more than 600rwhp. The 600rwhp was on low boost, low timing, 93 octane. He made much more with more boost/timing and torco.
