This is a clip of how I got past the leapers and howler in the cathedral on superhuman difficulty. This strategy will work on any difficulty. Try it if you can't get past the leapers.

if you look at the beginning of the video you will see i selected superhuman! it's not all that hard to beat the game on superhuman with practice.

I didn't find superhuman diffuculty very hard. Until I got to this point.

If resistance 2 played more like the first one, I personally think it would have been better.  If only they kept the weapon wheel, and those freaky moments when you get jumped from behind by a menial and you'd struggle for your life to get free.
